Women`s Work Is Never Done

A Cactus Wren putting the finishing touches in her nest that is resting on a Joshua tree branch. The decor includes dog hair and cat fur, ribbon, grass, twigs, one raven feather, insulation, foam and a fabric shoelace. She will eventually spread her wings and squish things down with her body. The entrance is a hole formed in the side of the nest.

I hope you have a wonderful day!

Your blog has given me inspiration to look more closely at a nest in our honeysuckly harbor. Might even post about it and link back to you, of course.
