More Sewing, Weather and desert life.

Today is week two of the Take A Stitch Tuesday Challenge. This week is the buttonhole stitch and variations if we so choose. You can follow the challenge at the above link.

You can read more about my sample here. About 20 degrees here last night. It should be close to 60 by noon. A small snake left a trail across one of the dirt roads yesterday. Some of them are persistent looking for a place to warm in the sun. It`s was in the 70`s last week and sometimes that prompts an excursion from the hole they retreated in to keep warm.

Hubby and I had our yearly doctor visits and we are "good to go" for another year. I like that!

Wishing you all a safe, warm, blessed week.
Cathy

  5. Hi Catherine thank you for visiting my blog, I will post a picture of my handmade book I bought on Etsy. I also did not know how to make a book and wanted something unique to show the stitches for TAST. Found just the thing on Etsy. I will post a picture of it so you can see it and it's a beautiful handmade book. Maybe you could find something on Etsy that would suit your needs. Love your buttonhole stitch on your antique linen, looks good.

    1. Thank you Rose Mary. I will look for a book on Etsy. The linen tablecloth I used for my sample is very old and the fabric is weak. I just couldn`t throw it away. Bad habit of mine!
