I Won! I Won A Giveaway!

I won these cute fabrics in a Giveaway at sumacseeds, a great blog owned by Susan. I am so happy and honored. Susan and I were participants in The Dots On Dots Blog Hop. Sue`s block is a Wonky Log Cabin  .Her block is so cute and she was kind to provide a tutorial. The block fabrics included green dotty goodness which she shared in her Giveaway. Dots are always cheerful and the spring fresh colors in her fabric are superb. A visit to Susan`s blog is very rewarding. Well worth a visit! Thank you Susan.

My Lovely Fabric Win!

This next lot of fabric I purchased at Connecting Threads. The green floral print is Prairie Sweetgrass. The blue and pink prints are from the Hope Chest Collection. I am pleased with my purchase. The fabric is a nice quality, ordering is easy and their customer service is exceptional. The prices are very good too. I`ll shop there again.

Connecting Threads  Fabric Purchase

Can you believe it will soon be Ocotober? Our weather is milder.  This is our second spring. Wildflowers are blooming, a few butterflies are floating around.  Thousands of butterflies used pass through here on there migration from Mexico, but no more. I am so grateful for the few that linger here a while.

I`m making blocks for DIL`s quilt. Yesterday was  "take it apart and start over".  Sometimes points just don`t cooperate in our blocks. I`ll have pictures in a few days. I`m going to a Quilt Show this morning at the Mohave Museum Of History and Art on Route 66 in Kingman, Arizona. It`s only a 45 minute drive. I can`t wait to get there. Maybe we`ll have a nice breakfast too. As always, thank you for visiting. I appreciate it!

  3. Thank you Nancy. Them`s mighty kind words ma`am! I read your post today and I like the art on your church wall. Your mother`s work is really lovely and the purple tones in your painting made the colors really pop.

I envy your many talents. I am really enjoying quilting. It`s sort of respite time for me. Have a great day Nancy.
