Day Five In Your Words Blog Hop

It`s Day Five already in our blog hop. There are lots of wonderful quilting projects to see. Have a look at how these quilters use words in their work. Some are offering Giveaways. All are worth a visit. Click the picture below to see the list of participants.

It`s almost noon and the temps are still below freezing. Canada can have their weather back any time, lol. We keep the house chilly to save on the cost of propane. I should be wearing double layers of clothes by supper time. Made peanut butter cookies this morning and dog biscuits yesterday to warm the downstairs. The mountain just to the left is Garnet Mountain. There`s a garnet mine up there somewhere. If you prefer to see the Skywalk in winter you will drive by those hills.
I`m going to warm up in my sewing room. It has an electric heater, YEA!
Thank you for visiting. I appreciate it,
Cathy

  1. I hate being cold....but I know propane (and all heat for that matter) is expensive. Better wear some long johns.

  2. Brrr Cathy! Last night on the shade patio, it got down to 32 degrees. That is mighty cold for this far south. Tenderfoots like me have to have three layers, one of fleece and one of silk to make it at 32°F. Yes! Canada, come take back your weather! hehe
