Thrifted Piecework Needlework Magazines

We stopped in a couple of thrift stores Monday and I found these divine Piecework Needlework magazines. Embroidery, knitting, lace, crochet and great tutorials. If you want to broaden your skills or learn a bit of linen history this is the magazine. Entertaining, a fun learning experience and beautiful color pictures. I love these books! They will be for sale in my shop Tuesday May 31.

I also bought a piece of Snowflake Pyrex and yellow Tupperware. I thought the Tupperware a bit pricey at two and three dollars, but I really wanted it. The Pyrex was 50 cents. It was a great day.

Thank you for visiting. I hope you are safe from tornadoes and storms. God Bless the people in Joplin and surrounding areas.

My Pyrex Gift To Me

Went thrifting yesterday and found this set of vintage Pyrex dishes, my Mother`s Day gift to me. Sometimes we have to do a little something nice for ourselves don`t we? The Pyrex Primary Colors are my favorites but this lime green color will certainly light up my shelves. No nicks, chips or scratches and no paint loss. I collect Pyrex and use my casseroles and dinnerware frequently.

Mother`s Day will be quiet. Son and daughter in law are in San Diego enjoying the cool weather. It`s already
100+ at their home near the border. You all have a great day!
