Taylor Smith and Taylor Weather Vane

A few days ago I mentioned boxes I hadn`t opened for more than a year. Most of the items are vintage American dinnerware. A favorite of mine is TS&T Weather Vane, part of the Ever Yours Line. I like the sleek lines of Ever Yours.

Isn`t that Rooster Weather Vane cute? If I had room this would be something else I collect. I like a country style home and Mr. Rooster would fit right in. I put it in my Etsy store this morning. Sometimes you have to bite the bullet, so to speak. Some things you have to let go. Most of my dressers and closets are crammed with linens, aprons, glass and dinnerware. My husband knows that when I see a dresser at a yard sale I am buying it for storage. My TV stand is a five drawer dresser full of linens. I am very fond of hand work like lace and embroidery so I usually hang on to those things. I always feel a connection to the women who embroidered and made lovely lace. Aprons are very special too.

Time to bake bread. So happy for bread machines. I have a carpel tunnel problem that makes kneading difficult. My husband had to drag me kicking and screaming to that bread machine. After all, real women KNEADED bread! Well, now I wouldn`t be without it.

Have a blessed Sunday,

Cathy

I start this post with a picture of a lion that daily crosses through my son`s property. Beautiful ! This is near Prescott.
