APRONS ARE SOLD THANK YOU
Hello everyone, I hope you are having a great day. Here is the lot of aprons I wrote a post about a week ago. I decided not to sell them in small lots. A few have imperfections that are hard to see. There are no holes or tears. One apron has frayed binding. The fabrics are quality cotton, what you don`t find on a store shelf today, and in very good condition. All aprons have been used. I will describe them picture by picture starting at the top picture. I have described any flaws, which are few, to the best of my ability. These apron are selling for less than $2.00 apiece. Not because they are junk. I just need to move them along quickly. The shipping is $ 6.50 Priority Mail. USA only. No refunds. There is a PayPal button under the description where you can pay with a credit or debit card. Thank you.
The red apron is a holiday apron with scalloped hems, red cotton with machine embroidered poinsettia on the pocket.
The multicolor brown is a nice cotton with a nice size yellow trimmed pocket.
The red gingham has chicken scratch embroidery at the hem. Three very small light spots above the embroidery that can only be seen held up to natural light. Beautiful handwork.
The blue gingham is a really fine quality gingham with hand embroidered red figures. Very nice hand.
Next picture. The green gingham has exquisite red chicken scratch embroidery. Very nice handwork and quality fabric.
The pink apron is a nice quality fabric with hand embroidered cross stitch.houses.
The gray and red paisley apron with red skirt has red rick rack trim and fading on the skirt and waistband. The paisley is in great condition.
The white bib apron is a cotton blend with red ribbon neck ties. Self fabric ties. I would resew the ribbons on the bib. They are machine sewn on but not too tidy. I would say it`s never been worn.
The brown calico apron is a great find. Nice quality sturdy fabric. The skirt bottom is selvage and the sewing is crooked on the waistband. Novice sewer.
The black gingham apron has red rick and black and red chicken scratch embroidery at the waist, pocket and skirt. Very nice handwork.. This apron is probably 1950`s. The red trim is slightly faded.
The light color floral is cotton with a red and pink clover print. The binding on the hem is frayed and there is fraying on the binding at each end of the waist. The side edge of the pocket needs to be re sewn. Lace trim on the pocket top. Nice quality fabric.
The light blue apron is cotton with tiny red flowers in the print, nicely sewn. Nice fabric.
The brown gingham apron has exquisite embroidery. The solid color part of the skirt has three tiny light spots in one corner, usually hidden in the folds. Quality fabric.
The Santa Face Apron was sold as a kit, I believe in the 1950`s. The cotton fabric is a nice quality with a nice hand. The face is flannel and the hat is hand sewn onto the apron.Thank you.
