A Little Vogart, A Little Aunt Martha

Greetings from the hot, humid desert. Lots of clouds and a cool breeze yesterday but no rain. Didin`t have to use the AC till mid afternoon. It`s very early morning now. The air is heavy and very warm. It usually cools between 4 a:m and 7 a:m, starting to get hot about 9 o`clock.

Here are the Aunt Martha and Vogart transfer patterns I found at a yard sale last weekend. My favorite is the Vogart with all those smiling kitchen utensils. The 1963 Coats and Clark`s afghan booklet has knit and crochet patterns, some to be embroidered. The Simplicity Cross Stitch pattern packet has not used. There are border patterns for fish, tulips, poinsettia, roses, diamonds and daisy`s. I`ll probably be starting aprons soon.

If you are on Social Security or disabled I hope you get your checks for August. The military rightly takes precedence and will be paid. There are people trying to do the right thing but it is also evident that arrogance, posturing, vanity, re-election concerns and egos in DC supercede the good of our country and it`s citizens. You folks on the Beltway get over yourselves and do what you were elected to do, Serve The People!

Thanks for visiting,
Cathy

  3. I agree with you both...also there is plenty of money for the seniors, medicare and the military coming in every month....they want to increase the debt for all the loans they took out...its like a father wanting to increase their credit card limit to pay for his fancy car, cutting off the electricity and food to punish the family when he doesn't get his way.
