Mohave Museum Quilt Show 2012

Hello! I hope everyone is well. I promised pictures of the local quilt show at the Mohave Museum Of History and Arts in Kingman, Arizona. We had a great time. There were 100 quilts, all lovely and very little room to take pictures. I couldn`t take pictures of an entire quilt, but I figure I got the best parts. I will post more pictures tomorrow. Enjoy!

This is my favorite mini quilt.

I`ve been sewing, making Christmas presents every day. Mornings I do yard work. Lots of raking weeds and clearing dead brush. My tomatoes are finally producing. It`s been a long summer for them. Washed the car yesterday despite the dirt roads. Lots of gold prospectors showing up now that it is cooler, trying their luck. No matter how you do it, it is hard work.  It is cool enough now to bake, finally! I enjoy homemade casseroles, chili and pot pies.

That`s all for today. Time to read the Sunday papers!

Till later,
Cathy

    1. It was about 40 here. 23 at Grand Canyon. I guess I should be happy with that 40. It sure was chilly! We`re getting ready to bring the woodstove back in the house. The Indians have been delivering firewood to the neighbors for the last three weeks. Have a nice day Nancy!

I start this post with a picture of a lion that daily crosses through my son`s property. Beautiful ! This is near Prescott.
