I drove to my son and daughter in law`s home in Williams for a short visit. Great trip, fresh air, tall aspens and mature blue spruce in the front and back yards. My dog had a playmate making this visit extra nice. Here are a few pictures of our picnic at Dogtown Lake on the outskirts of town.

Williams is beautiful. I expect to spend lots of time there. It is set up for tourists but you still get that hometown feel. The Grand Canyon Railway is headquartered there making day long trips to the South Rim and back.
Here is a picture of my new adopted pup Sam. Eight months old, a Lab/Shepard mix. This was his picture in the newspaper the day I brought him home. He is very special.
Till later,
Cathy
Cute pup, lovely pictures.
ReplyDeleteHe`s a cutie alright. And good company. Thanks.
DeleteSo glad you adopted Sam. You two need each other!
ReplyDeleteThe lake looks cool and inviting. Know you had a good time there. Is that the son who had the back surgeries?
Yes. He had another one about two months ago. He never is pain free. Some days are better than others. Thanks for asking.
DeleteI think Northern AZ is beautiful. It's been very many years but I have been to Williams. Sam is a lucky pup! And very handsome too.
ReplyDeleteHi Cathy thanks for stopping by blog-good to "meet" you
